This is a butcher blade bayonet date from the first world war, made in germany by Erfurt in 1915(marked).

 It is 20 inches lonch (approx) blade is 14 inches.

It come with his scabard and the inscriptions are all clear.

Look carefully on the pictures, it have some light piting and staining, the scabbard also have light pitting but mostly on one side.

The blade look like it has been sharpened. The button works fine

 Nice clean French model 1874 bayonet and scabbard made for Gras rifle. Has ringlet on bayonet scabbard, numbers on scabbard and quillon match N 99619, some other hallmarks on quillon as shown. Dated 1878 on top of blade.

(2) 1907 British Enfield Bayonet's/Swords. Sorry for not showing the pair together. The Pics are in sequence-1st two are the 1st sword, 2nd two the 2nd Sword. The same with the additional pictures. The Bayonets are good condition. One of the Bayonets is missing the pin at the bottom.

Best descriptions of the markings on the sword. 

1st Sword- (With Pin) #'s listed on side with Pin at bottom. 11, 08 , Looks like ETD, / Otherside Looks like an Umbrella, 24 stamped near it, Looks like a crown with IV E underneath, X and looks like a 16

2nd Sword (Without Pin) #'s listed on side where Pin should be. 3834, 190?, 27, 3 and Sanders / Otherside Looks like an Umbrella, Looks like a crown with IV E underneath, X with what looks like a crown on each side.

Wwi German Gew98 Butcher Bayonet & Leather Scabbard '17

Blade is bright with some dirt and patina. Appears to have been
sharpened lightly, probably during its time of use. Wood grips are
fine. All markings are clear. There is some light surface rust here
and there. Original leather scabbard is solid with some scuff marks.
Stitching is solid. Dated on the spine of the blade 17. Made by and
marked: Act.Ges.vorm./ Frister&Rossmann/ BERLIN. All original, no
modifications. Very attractive looking even piece.

A very NICE and UNIQUE  1917  U.S. MARKED AND ORDNANCE BOMB STAMPED SWORD BAYONET - THAT APPEAR AS-ISSUED - possibliity Arsenally re-conditioned. NOTE: This U.S. marked 1917 was LendLease during WW11 - note the re-placement grips. The 1907 Britsh wooden grips were used to re-place many of the grips on LendLease Model 1917  Bayonets given to the UK during WW11. This appears to one of the bayonets. Quite a unique history - rest assured these are Genuine US Model 1917 bayonet set - Not a Chinese copy or Fake.  This came directly from a British arsenal years ago.  PLEASE SEE PICTURES TO EVALUATE PROPERLY - THAT WILL ILLUSTRATE AND EXPLAIN MORE THAN I EVER COULD. The Bayonet in the picture is the bayonet that you are buying! That eliminates unwanted surprises.  I SUSPECT THESE WERE LENDLEASE FROM WW11 - THAT WERE MADE IN WW1. Rare M 1915 Danish Krag Bayonet And Scabbard

Rare  M1915 Danish Krag bayonet/scabbard in nice condition. The blade is shiny with no pitting or rust. The grips  are in nice shape with no mars or dings.There is a hairline crack around the rear rivot  on the right side as shown in the last picture.The only markings on the bayonet is the serial number and the top part of the word HAERENS.I dont know if they  were buffed off or worn off. The scabbard is VG/solid with no stitching missing. nice piece allaround  .No sales to Russia or Italy

Ww1 Us Military Model 1917 Plumb Bolo Knife / Scabbard

for auction is this very nice World War I US model 1917 Plumb bolo bayonet.  The handle is in very good condition.  Both wood grips are original, retaining their original finish.  There is one very minor chip on the top of the reverse side grip.  Both pommel and cross guard are very tight, retaining all of its original patina.  The blade is very nice with a few minor dings on the spine and some very neatly done period sharpening along the sharp edge.  The blade is strongly marked with US Mod 1917 on the obverse side and Plumb Phila 1918 on the reverse side.  The scabbard cover is stained but with no fraying and retaining the original belt loop and attachment.  The leather drag is clearly marked AK Co 1918 RHS and is still very supple.  The inner raw hide like scabbard is free of damage!  This
would make a nice addition to any collection.

Early Ornate Pre Ww1 German Clemen & Jung Court Sword

This original Pre WW1 German Court sword is in real nice condition showing tarnishing to all metal parts . Blade is unsharpened and bright showing some spots of greying . The blade is triple etched . Backspine of blade is marked C.H. STAHLE STUTTGART . Sword comes with original portepee . Scabbard shows some age but no damage or loose stitching . Both scabbard and sword still have their original felt . Pearl grips are nice , one is a little loose . Overall length of sword in scabbard is 37 1/4 inches . World War I French Mle 1916 Bayonet

World War I French Mle 1916 bayonet and scabbard. This piece is sometimes called Le Vengeur de 1870, referring to a lost war against the Prussian Army. On 1 side of the ricasso, in an oval, is "Coutillerie/ 31Besset/ Thiers". This refers to the Besset Brothers of Thiers. The blade is 6-5/8 inches long and the handle is wood. At the time this bayonet was made, France had a tradition of making narrow cruciform blades that were perfect for penetrating  thick and heavy military uniforms. First bid $9.99.
